TTP est une série de photographies réalisées par Hayahisa Tomiyasu depuis la fenêtre de son ancien appartement d'étudiant dans la ville allemande de Leipzig. Cette vue orientée vers le sud nous permet de voir une "tischtennisplatte" ou table de ping-pong utilisée à de multiples fins - notamment comme banc solaire, comptoir de blanchisserie, cadre d'escalade pour les enfants, terrain d'exercice, lieu de déjeuner en famille, refuge contre les rues animées, parmi d'autres usages - à l'exception du ping-pong.

Tomiyasu a passé cinq ans à documenter l'humble table et, grâce à sa curiosité soutenue, nous observons les idiosyncrasies du comportement humain et des habitudes sociales, alors que les saisons changent, que les scènes se transforment et que les gens vont et viennent.
