Le dernier voyage d’un des grands photographes contemporains accompagné du souffle poétique d’une amoureuse des îles.

Cet ouvrage, réunissant le travail réalisé sur ces quatre îles, présente plus d’une soixantaine d’œuvres baignées d’embruns salés, de lumières bretonnes, de jeux de clair-obscur, de rochers oscillants entre brutalité et figuration. On croise aussi au fil des pages du linge suspendu, des arbres penchés sur l'horizon et des phares dressés au lointain. Toute la poésie de Bernard Plossu se dégage de ces clichés où le noir et blanc côtoie quelques clichés en couleurs réalisées avec le procédé Fresson.

Gwenaëlle Abolivier, ouessantine de cœur, accompagne ces œuvres par ses mots délicats, permettant au lecteur une immersion totale sur ces îles où le monde semble suspendu et hors du temps.
