Ce numéro de PLETHORA est centré sur la capacité unique du papier, en tant que support, à transmettre une expérience fascinante du vide et du sens, de l'absence et de la présence, grâce à un jeu délicat entre la lumière, l'ombre et l'encre sur une surface texturée – les mêmes contours qui permettent de retracer toute l'histoire de l'humanité depuis des milliers d'années... et très différents de la surface lisse et synthétique du numérique, qui ne peut jamais exprimer le néant positif et sublime.

Parmi les méditations philosophiques sur les 8 couches fondamentales du vide et les séries d'images complémentaires, l'édition sculpturale du portfolio comprendra 8 reproductions originales d'œuvres sur papier d'artistes internationaux qui capturent chacune la présence subtile du vide grâce à des techniques manuelles de pressage, de pliage, de gaufrage et de perforation, ainsi qu'à une large palette d'impressions offset spécialisées.

L'édition sculpturale limitée sera principalement fabriquée à la main et publiée en 250 exemplaires maximum, tous sur commande.

Spécificités :

- 60 pages avec enveloppes pour les œuvres originales sur papier.
- Format maximal 60 x 42 cm + divers formats adaptés à chaque œuvre.
- Sélection de papiers sur mesure provenant du monde entier.
- Pressage, pliage, gaufrage et perforations manuels, ainsi qu'impression offset spécialisée.
- Chemise fabriquée à la main et rivetée à partir de carton blanc avec bande kozo washi gaufrée.
